Privacy Notice

This notice explains how personal data is handled by Jason Edu, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Data controller

The data controller is Jason Tafee (Jason Edu), a private English teacher based in Istanbul. Contact: WhatsApp +90 538 223 65 77.

What is processed, and why?

When you contact us on WhatsApp: your name, phone number and whatever you share in your message (for example your English level, learning goal, or whether the lessons are for you or your child) are processed. This information is used only to answer your question, schedule the free level consultation and run the lessons. Legal basis: KVKK art. 5/2(c) - necessity for entering into or performing a contract, and art. 5/2(f) - legitimate interest.

When you visit this website: the site sets no cookies and does not track individual visitors. Traffic is measured with Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies and produces only aggregate, anonymous statistics. We do not store your IP address or any data that identifies you.

Sharing

Your data is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing. Communication runs over WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), whose own data processing terms apply when you use that service to reach us.

Retention

Contact records are kept for the duration of the lesson relationship plus a reasonable follow-up period, and are deleted on request.

Your rights

Under article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, and object to processing. You can send any such request via WhatsApp.

Children

For students under 18, all contact and lesson planning runs through a parent or guardian. No data is collected directly from children through this website.
